The My Shopping Genie Program has many features that make it an excellent choice for a home business. As an independent distributor for My Shopping Genie, I wanted to take a moment and share my personal journey in finding the right type of home business for my lifestyle. Having to support a growing family, I needed to find a second income source. I was out to find a business that I could run in my spare time.
Without mentioning any names, I first tried a home business that required me to purchase household goods, then sign-up people to do the same. The products were great. The company had great service. I even enjoyed working with my upline.
There was only one problem: the harder I worked, the less money I made. The problem was with retention. I would sign-up 10 people in one month, only to have 5 people quit the program that same month. I could never get ahead. Meanwhile, my house became overwhelmed with household goods that I could never use up before I had to re-order the next month. I had to find a business that did things a better way. I could no longer work 20-30 hours a week, only to see my home business income decrease each month.
There are hundreds of home business opportunities on the market. Before making a decision to start a business, I would recommend the following:
1. Do your research. What kind of company is it? What is the growth potential? This sounds simple. But, fat too many people get caught up in the “success stories” and just jump right it.
2. Financial Involvement. Do you have to invest a lot of money? If you’re starting a business to increase your income, don’t t stuck in a business that is going to make you go broke.
3. Effort. This is a big one. No business is going to make you rich overnight. No matter what the company, no matter what the business, you’re going to be required to put in the time, energy and effort. If you’re not willing to work hard at it, you’re better off to not even start.
Find something that you enjoy doing. Work hard at it. Be persistent. Then, success will come.
