This statement may sound like a no-brainer, but all too often people place their faith in Network Marketing sales strategies and techniques instead of in themselves. They hope to succeed in their
If instead, you always assume that you WILL succeed, the process changes. Now you are continually checking in to see how business-building methods feel to you, secure in the knowledge that what feels “right” succeeds.
Once you start assuming that you will succeed in our Network Marketing business, it’s easier to let go of the belief that you have to do things in a certain way. You can stop forcing yourself to do things you don’t want to do, and instead start attracting techniques and ideas that will work for you.
You can begin by using your schedule as a tool for transformation.
Gain Clarity and Identify Business Strategies That Need to be Replaced
STEP 1) On a blank sheet of paper, write out one week’s schedule for your Network Marketing business. Write what you’re going to do and when you’re going to do it.
STEP 2) As you go through the week, use a separate sheet of paper every day to evaluate your schedule.
Did you complete the scheduled actions or tasks?
For every task that you completed as scheduled, write down the following:
How did it feel while you were doing it?
What was the physical outcome of doing it?
What might be the future outcome of doing it?
For every task that you did not complete as scheduled, write down the following:
How do you feel about doing that particular task?
If the thought of doing the task makes you uncomfortable, what about it makes you uncomfortable?
Write in as much detail as possible. Your own inner wisdom will emerge through your writing and you may be surprised at the insights you gain. In this way you will identify what’s been holding you back from
Focus on Attracting Methods That Will Work for You
If something doesn’t work, it simply means you need to seek out and attract a method that will work for you.
Always Assume That a Way to Success (A Way That Feels Good to You) Exists.
You are a creator, and many times creating is a process of trial and error. It’s about trying things out, and seeing if they work for you.
Remember, you are not just achieving Network Marketing business objectives. You are creating a life. It’s your life, no one else’s, and in order to be successful, it has to be created from within. External role-models will only help you develop if they match who you really are inside.
Be very honest with yourself as you assess the actions you’ve been taught. Once you clearly identify the ones you are resistant to doing, explore in writing the reasons behind the resistance. Most importantly, validate your resistance. Too many of us have been taught to just “suck it up” and force ourselves to do things.
THIS IS ALWAYS COUNTER-PRODUCTIVE. We may achieve short-term success, but we are taking ourselves further away from our own path, further away from our own true and satisfying long-term success.
STEP 3) Make new choices based on your personal truth.
On a new sheet of paper, list the actions you resist doing. Next to each one, list the desired outcome attached to the action.
For example, let’s say one of the things you don’t want to do is make a list of people you know and call them to tell them about your
Do this for every action that doesn’t feel good to you.
Then, remember this: ALWAYS ASSUME THAT YOU WILL SUCCEED!
Assume That You Will Succeed
If you assume that you can succeed at Network Marketing, and if you believe that success can only come if you are matched up to your true, authentic self, then it naturally follows that THERE IS A WAY FOR YOU TO ACHIEVE YOUR DESIRED OUTCOME AND FEEL GOOD ABOUT WHAT YOU’RE DOING AT THE SAME TIME.
So, using the example above, you can make the choice to stop trying to force yourself to make calls that you don’t want to make, and you can instead use your energy to start seeking and attracting new ways to find customers and new distributors, ways that actually feel good. These ways may be different for each person.
