You finally did it: you purchased a big batch of guaranteed signups for your multi-level marketing program. You were probably excited to see your downline rapidly fill up with 500 or so network marketers for the tiny price of $50.
There’s only one problem: none of your new downline members are converting to paid memberships and few of them are actually making an attempt to expand your downline further by recruiting new network marketers.
This may seem bad at first, but don’t despair. Instead, logically evaluate the situation by asking yourself the following two questions: 1) is my system of follow-up and training sufficient enough to ensure that my downline members are successful, too? And 2) did I just get completely scammed by the company I purchased the MLM guaranteed signups from?
If the answer to your first question is yes, then clearly the answer to the second question is yes, too, which means you will need to find a better source of MLM guaranteed sign ups. Look for the following options: geo-targeting, one-sale-only, and traffic source selection. All of these options will allow you to configure your MLM guaranteed signups campaign correctly to ensure that you receive high-quality leads that actually know they are joining your downline and are actually interested in participating in the opportunity.
Now, if you answered “no” to the first question, you have a considerable amount of work to do to ensure that you are using your MLM leads properly. Buying 500 or even 5000 guaranteed signups wont guarantee a single paid signup unless you have some mechanism through which you ensure that all of your signups at least have the CHANCE to become successful.
How can you do this? I personally suggest a number of ways – the most important of which are the following:
1)Setup a training site for everyone in your downline. Include additional materials and lists. Also consider adding something like a forum or regular email support. This will ensure that membership who actually wish to participate – to build YOUR downline and to potentially become paid members – will have the resources they need at their fingertips.
2)Create a “handbook” PDF or autoresponder series. In this handbook or series, detail all of the important things your MLM downline members must be doing on a regular basis in order to ensure that they profit from this experience – and subsequently ensure that you profit, too.
Keep in mind that getting even five people to replicate what you are doing has an exponentially viral and powerful affect. For instance, if you purchase 500 guaranteed signups, but train none of them, you might end up with no paid signups and an inactive downline. Now, if you purchase 500 guaranteed signups and then train them to replicate your success, you might end up with 5 – 10 people who will EACH increase your downline by 500 by also purchasing MLM leads; and will also upgrade to paid memberships.
Additionally, if they are able to replicate your efforts, they will train new downline members to do the same, increasing the strength of your downline again and again.
And it’s as simple as that: find out where the problem is – whether it be the quality of the guaranteed signups or the follow-up series – fill the gap; and then watch your downline grow each day with decreasing efforts.
